Supervision and New Agencies – Mentoring

Where a newly qualified migration agent decides to start their own business, mentoring is doubly important. Many experienced Registered Migration Agents offer this service, however it is always challenging to provide mentoring in a structured way with adequate record keeping and maintaining the assurance of Client confidentiality. The iVisa system is ideal for this.

Where the newly qualified Agent is the Managing Agent, they can add their mentor as an Employee in the system and assign that mentor to specific cases they are working on. The mentor does not have access to their whole system so any privacy concerns can be managed. Additionally the mentor does not need to download any documents – they can review any document online using the built in document viewer.

When a Case is complete or when a relationship with the mentor ends, the Managing Agent can simply un-assign the mentor from the Case, or disable their login to the Agency’s iVisa system.
